The Grade II listed Marconi House lies within the Strand Conservation Area between two of the capitals most historic streets, the Strand and Aldwych, and is part of one of the most prestigious landmark developments within the capital. Behind the retained grandiose façade will be housed luxury apartments and penthouses designed by Norman Foster.
PIERRA were appointed the conservation contractor to clean the retained Portland stone facade utilizing a combination fine nebulous water sprays and low pressure steam wash.
The retained Portland stone facades were then sensitively conserved using a blend of lime based mortar repairs and matching Portland stone indents.
