GARRICK'S VILLA, HAMPTON, Middlesex

PIERRA were the preferred Conservation Contractor to carry out the sensitive brick and stonework packages to this fire ravaged Grade I listed building which was once the residence of the Shakespearean actor Sir David Garrick.

The building was victim of a major fire outbreak in 2008 resulting in severe damage to the parapet brickwork, internal brickwork, chimney stacks and the south elevation stone cornice and parapet brickwork, mathematical tiling and gauged brick arches.

PIERRA will be undertaking the careful dismantling, recording and re-building of the south elevation cornice and parapet, the two main chimney stacks along with the replacement of the parapet coping stones and the extensive re-building and consolidating of the buildings internal brickwork.
