PIERRA were employed as Principal Contractor to carry out the clean and repair to the facades of this splendid Grade II listed property in one of London’s most affluent areas.
With the building being occupied the project produced many challenges and it was testament to PIERRA’s management and site operatives’ professionalism and dedication that a project was produced to the highest of standards. A comprehensive project, involving the sympathetic cleaning to the masonry utilizing the Doff system, extensive terracotta and brick replacement and repair, the re-building of the chimney stacks along with the renewal of the existing welsh slate roof to the main roof and the replacement of the lead coverings to the cornice, was achieved with the clients requirements fulfilled.
