Riverhead Parkland Boundary Wall

The boundary wall to this parkland in Sevenoaks was in peril of collapsing presenting a significant health and safety risk to the public.

Working in conjunction with the Parish’s Structural Engineer a scheme was devised to carefully dismantle and re-build a large section of the Kittenish Rag stone boundary wall using the specified combination of natural hydraulic lime based mortar mixes along with the inclusion of stainless steel reinforcement laid within the bed joints. The faces of the wall were then finished with small Kittenish Rag stone gullets in keeping with the existing sections of walling.
