PIERRA were appointed the specialist restoration contractor on the redevelopment and restoration of the 102 year old Grade II listed Town Hall.
The external facades and chimney stacks were cleaned utilizing the Jos (light wet abrasive) system. Repairs were then carried out to the brick and stonework to the chimney stacks and elevations along with the replacement of the main halls pigeon deterrent systems.
Internally, the halls splendid terrazzo and mosaic flooring was cleaned with areas either repaired using suitable colored resin or replaced with matching material. The first floor balustrade was also cleaned with a mild detergent and polished.
